Wood Burning Fireplaces: Ambiance & Efficiency with Whole Home Heating

 Whole Home Heating

Many people choose a wood burning fireplace for the ambiance it adds to their space. The roar of the fire, the crackling of the wood engulfed with flames, the earthy reminiscent smell, and the warmth it provides not only to our homes, but to our hearts.

Ignite the fire within.

So how does Whole Home Heating Work? Using B-vent piping you can remote duct and vent your heated air to other areas of your home; our in-line blower option allows you to vent heated air upstairs or downstairs. Another option is to connect your remote ducting system to your cool air return and use your furnace fan to evenly distribute heat to your entire home and help eliminate cold spots.

What about heating your domestic water? Acucraft’s Water Loop can be added to your fireplace and allows you to heat your domestic water, and can also be used for radiant in-floor heating systems! Whether you’re looking to heat your garage floor or add a radiant system to your driveway to help with snow and ice removal, our Water Loop is the option for you. How does it work? There’s a small pump controlled through a thermostat which starts circulating the water when your firebox becomes heated, providing supplemental heat for your water. Both the in-line blower for Whole Home Heating and the Water Loop can be connected to a thermostat mounted below the firebox, so when your firebox heats up it automatically turns on your in-line blower and water pump.
