Looking ahead, our solar initiative is projected to make a substantial environmental impact. Over the next 25-years, the use of solar energy in our operations and fireplace manufacturing is expected to prevent the emission of 1,117 metric tons of CO2. To put that number into perspective, this achievement is on par with planting nearly 29,000 trees, removing 235 cars from the road for a year, saving more than 125,000 gallons of gasoline, or avoiding the burning of almost 1.2 million pounds of coal.
