Marc came to Acucraft in early 2019 looking for multiple wood burning fireplaces for his new construction home in Larkspur, Colorado. His architect, Dusty Buck of Surround Architecture, typically spec’d Isokern wood burning fireplaces for his new construction projects, but after Marc’s neighbor highly recommended Acucraft Fireplaces, they reached out to us for more information.
The Fireplaces
Seated on several acres of land, Marc’s property not only consisted of his new construction home, but also a guest house, car port, and horse barn. Marc wanted to enjoy the landscape surrounding his new home by encompassing a traditional, rustic aesthetic, and the earthy warmth of wood burning fireplaces.
Marc’s plans included three (3) wood burning fireplaces; he wanted not only the traditional ambiance of a wood fireplace, but something that could provide his space with warmth. Working with Fireplace Advisor, Mike, Marc ultimately chose a Hearthroom 36″ single-sided fireplace, a custom single-sided wood fireplace, and a custom see-through outdoor wood fireplace.
